The Witcher Season 1 Review

The first season of The Witcher is strange and disorganized. Its complex framework, which ultimately limits character development and prevents the show from having any real feeling of depth, is the reason why it fails. This results in an unappealing overall picture, but happily, there are many appealing details inside it. Geralt of Rivia is the ideal counterpart for Henry Cavill, and his enthusiasm for the part enables all of the White Wolf's plotlines to rise above their flaws. Yennefer, played by Anya Chalotra, doesn't have the depth of character development she deserves, but the episode does highlight how well the show can craft a complicated, significant trip. In addition, the show is full of monsters, both human and monstrous, which gives it a distinct flavor despite the lackluster CGI.
